Thank You for looking at our auction. . . . . . this is a really nice estate sale in Fairfield,CT (minutes from Merritt Parkway or I-95). . . .when the estate attorney called me to look at this house. . .to be honest . . .over the phone . . .It didn't sound very good. . . .WOW WAS I WRONG !!!!. . . .this is a MID-CENTURY TIME CAPSULE !!!!! . . .BUT these people were not Mid Century collectors or anything like that, they bought all these items as their everyday furniture starting in the 1950's - 1980's . . . . . . .this couple was married in and moved in this house in 1948 and they bought furniture and it NEVER LEFT THE HOUSE. . . .(he passed in 2014 at 91 years old and his wife just passed in September 2018 at 92 years old) . . . . . .
