Item Description

Issued by the United States Mint in 1991, this Korean War Memorial Uncirculated Silver Dollar commemorates the service and sacrifice of those who served in the Korean War and supported the creation of the memorial in Washington, D.C. The coin was authorized by Congress under Public Law 101-495 and signed into law on October 31, 1990.

According to the accompanying Certificate of Authenticity, this uncirculated silver dollar was struck at the Denver Mint and is composed of 90% silver (0.76 troy oz) and 10% copper, with a total weight of 26.73 grams and a diameter of 38.10 mm. The obverse design depicts a military figure with ships and aircraft, while the reverse features a map of Korea with service insignia, reflecting the scope and impact of the conflict.
