Item Description

"Vengeance", Wood Engraving by Paul Landacre (1893 - 1963)
Probably an impression aside from an edition of 100 that was to be made for Vultee in the early 1940's.
He never made the impressions for them because of how they wanted to commercially use them (which were supposed to be signed. This piece does have his estate petrel stamp in red on bottom right of image.
This is an A-31 Vengeance Navy Dive Bomber. in modern frame.
Overall size: 20" x 18", image size: 12 1/4" x 8 1/2"
