Item Description

A freestanding oak library table with a two-tone red and black leather top, gold-tooled with foliate borders and a central rosette medallion. Fitted with three drawers to the front, the entire frieze faced in embossed brass panels depicting draped swags, urns, ribbon-tied bows, and classical figures, running continuously around all four sides, allowing the piece to sit beautifully in the center of a room. Rope-twist ring pulls throughout. Standing on turned and tapered legs ending in spade feet. C. late 20th century.

An equally strong choice for a traditional library or a contemporary home office.

Dimensions: 62.5" L × 32.25" D × 30.25" H; knee clearance 23.5"

Condition: Very good. Minor scratches to the leather top; normal wear consistent with age. Please refer to photographs for details.
