Item Description

Hand-carved wood Santos figure of a warrior saint in original polychrome paint depicting teal armored bodice, red pleated skirt and gilt base. Glass eyes intact. Continental School, 18th–19th century.

Dimensions: 16.5" H x 6.5" W x 6.5" D

Condition: Good. Arms missing. Paint loss, worm damage and craquelure consistent with considerable age. Please refer to photographs .
