If you've ever ordered items from Amazon, there's a good chance they came from China, and sometimes that means a part could occasionally be missing. With items that are described as "new" or "NIB" or "unopened", it means they haven't been used and are still in their original factory packaging. We do not always know how long a box may have been sitting in a closet or pile in the basement, and if you find hardware or something is missing from an unopened box, that is how it was shipped, so you would need to contact the manufacturer to purchase those missing parts.

**There is no shipping for this auction- no exceptions. You're welcome to hire a courier to pick up your purchase and deliver it to UPS for packing and shipping. Sign up for a pick-up time slot ...view morefor your courier as if you were picking up locally; on that form, you will need to provide info on who is coming and when.

** This sale’s pick-up day/time is Saturday, August 30th, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We will offer unique appointments to those who have purchased large furniture or have large orders overall to streamline the day for everyone.
Each client’s home and neighborhood are unique. We adapt each pick-up to the environment, our client’s circumstances, and to make pick-up as efficient for you, our customers, as possible because your business is important to us.
IMPORTANT DETAILS SPECIFIC TO THIS PICK-UP LOCATION: We will be utilizing an appointment system; you will receive an email with a link to click to sign up for an appointment time slot; you can always reach out for assistance if the technology is an issue. We're happy to help!
* Pets (cats and dogs) did live in the home, but it's been over a year since then.
* A few rooms in the house (primarily basement and garage) sat for months without any activity in them and contained food items, and therefore, mice found their way into those rooms. Eradication efforts ensued. Many of the items in this sale came from the basement. Please reach out with any questions; we felt it was important to be upfront and transparent. We always make every effort to examine items carefully and put ourselves in the shoes of customers; this influences and informs decisions we make of what to list and not list for sale.
MERCHANDISE: Estate sale items are typically in used condition; if they are new or look unused, we will indicate that. All estate sale items are sold "AS IS", and all sales are final. We examine items in good faith when photographing them and try to provide quality photos and from several angles to provide you with enough information to decide whether to bid or not. Any statements about condition are the opinion of the seller, which is why pictures are a major part of the description and your best source of information. Examine them closely to understand what it is you are bidding on. It is your responsibility to examine your purchase at pick-up and to bring up any issues AT THAT TIME with the auction manager. If pictures do not answer all your questions, please reach out.

MORE ABOUT THE APPOINTMENT SYSTEM: We often use an appointment system to help manage the amount of traffic in a neighborhood and to keep your wait time down. The day and time window for each sale is listed on the front page of each auction-usually in 2-3 places. If the address isn’t listed on your invoice, that’s because you must click a link in the email to sign up for a time slot, and you will be provided the address when you pick an appointment slot.
**IF YOU CANNOT MAKE THE PICK-UP TIME, you may send someone in your place; please notify us who that person will be, and be sure they bring their ID and a copy of the invoice. We cannot move, store, or hold your items. Items not picked up are considered abandoned property, and you forfeit any refund. Additionally, your credit card may be charged up to $150 for third party removal, and your bidding privileges may be canceled.
**Loading and carrying: We cannot help you move or carry your purchases due to liability issues and because it takes staff away from helping other customers. You are responsible for items you purchased which may mean bringing tools, manpower, tiedowns, dollies, packing material, bags, boxes, etc., and that means doing your due diligence about the weight, size, or complexity of the item and the size of your vehicle.
Heritage Estate Sales and Liquidation, LLC, its assistants, staff members, and clients are not liable for any accidents or injuries or accidents before, during, or after pickup or that occurred in conjunction with your pickup.
Our goal is to make pick-up day as stress-free as possible. We know you have a lot of options to choose from; we appreciate your business and want to keep it.
Please be kind and respectful to other customers, our clients' homes, and our staff. If there are concerns or issues, take those up privately with the auction manager. Folks who are not kind or respectful will lose their bidding privileges. This is a great business to be in, filled with 99% lovely, generous-spirited people.
