Consumers today thoroughly enjoy both the thrill of a competitive setting to buy and the ease of access to anything, anywhere, anytime. Bringing the traditional setting of an auction to the realm of the internet puts property for sale in front of the most eyes possible.
If you cast a bigger net, you catch more fish. We use highly established third-party auction communities who already boast tens of thousands of active bidders in our area. Combined with Western Mass Auctions' local advertising for coming auctions, this ensures that the maximum number of interested bidders will be viewing your consignments.

What is an opening bid?
An opening bid is the price at which bidding begins. While most of the items in our auctions start at $1, we do occasionally have starting bids of higher value. All lots are subject to reserves.
What is extended bidding and why is it necessary?
Auctioneers will give other bidders an opportunity to increase their bids until there is no further action / interest in the piece. We feature “extended bidding”in our online auction format because it best mimics live bidding (albeit in a timed format). The Western Mass Auction system resets the countdown clock to five (5) minutes on any lots that receive bids under the five minute mark.
Where do I find pick up instructions if I have won a bid?
All pickup information can be accessed by logging into your dashboard. You should also receive an email.
