AuctionNinja will be rolling-out a refreshed version of our site in the coming days and weeks. The AuctionNinja team has been working tirelessly these last few months to enhance our bidders' user experience. While the auction bidding system itself is unchanged, you will notice a slightly new "look" to the site.

In addition to AuctionNinja's refreshed optics, you will definitely notice a few key updates which are designed to improve your overall experience. What are these changes?

• Better filtering capabilities

Product Category Pages and Filters

One of the most exciting updates is the roll-out of product category pages. This feature improve visibility of inventory through category searches.

You may find the categories through the Browse Items drop-down in the updated homepage navigation bar.

While you may certainly browse all the lots offered in each sale, this option gives you the ability to quickly and easily fine and browse specific types of items of interest to you.

What are the categories?

• Fashion & Fashion Accessories
• Fine Art
• Furniture
• Garage & Tools
• Home Decor

• Toys & Video Gaming

Many of the broader categories offer more refined sub-categories (as shown below).

If you use the category drop-down in the Browse Items bar, you will see the items available in that category.  

Enhanced Search Features

Auction/Estate Sale Search on Homepage

We are streamlining the number of clicks to get you to the page you want. With the removal of the Marketplace tab on the navigation bar, you will be able to search for auctions and estate sales directly from the homepage by your location. If you login, results will automatically populate based on your zip code. This feature gets you to relevant auction listings faster. 

Find a Seller Search on Homepage 

It is also even easier to find a seller directly from the homepage. Hover over the Find a Seller drop-down menu. If you already know the seller, type the seller’s name in the site-wide search bar. You will be able to search and browse sellers by name, as well as access their profile pages and auctions with just one click.

Enhanced Item Search 

This is probably one of the biggest changes our bidders have been requesting ... improved item searches.

With our new and improved item search, you will be able to find the most relevant items directly from the homepage. Plus, with AuctionNinja’s advanced filtering you will be able to narrow your search results by:

• Zip code (see items that are in your preferred geographic region)
• Local pick-up or shipping available sales
• Category (see results that pertain to the type of item you seek)
  For example, if you are looking for a ‘coffee table’ your search result might include 'coffee table books.' By using the category filter and selecting the ‘furniture’ filter 'coffee table book’ should not populate your results.

In addition to site-wide searches, you will also be able to do in-auction searches. In other words, you may perform keyword searches within a specific auction.

These system upgrades have been carefully researched, programmed, and tested. We look forward to rolling them out and making your overall experience on AuctionNinja a better one.
