Here is a great mid 19th century officers sword for your antique sword collection.the sword is in very good condition with clear engraving on the sword. The letters US are engraved in the blade.
The hilt is substantial and has a formidable grip handle, and the metal for the piece has great integrity.
The sheath has 2 rings to hold attachments and has some pitting and wear commensurate with age.
The sword with sheath/hilt measures 38.00” long
