Bids placed on the simsburyantiques.com website are a binding contract and you are responsible for paying all amounts due to Pickwick Papers Books & Antiques including sale price, buyer's premium and all applicable taxes. Please do not bid if you are unable to pay for and retrieve the items in the designated time period for each auction or estate sale. All sales are final. No returns, credits or exchanges. Failure to pick up items will result in forfeiture without refund.
All items are sold as is where is. We try to describe items to the best of our ability. We may not test items as to the working condition and do not guarantee that items work. Items that we sell are mostly used, vintage or antique and will have appropriate wear. We will describe any visible major damage.
Please bring boxes, packing material and helpers necessary to get your items to your vehicle.
We are not responsible for accidents.
Shipping is available on most items for actual postage plus $4 handling per lot. Larger items can be sent by UPS and will be billed based on UPS store pricing for boxing. Please contact the auction manager prior to bidding with any questions.
Buyer’s premium of 15% and CT sales Tax of 6.35% will be added to the hammer price. If you have a resale certificate, no tax will be charges if you provide us with a copy before the end of the sale.
Pick up times at 10 Jim Gallagher Way, Simsbury, CT are: Wednesday December 4 10-4, Thursday December 5 1-6:30, Friday December 6 10-4, Sunday December 8 10-4, We are closed Saturday.
