Two large books about American theater:
1) They had Faces Then, superstars, stars and starlets of the 1930s. Written by John Springer and Jack Hamilton, citadel press, 1974, stated first edition. X library with back room covers, no dust jacket. Covers are soiled, rubbed, worn, with library stickers attached. Interior is soiled, missing front free end paper, marked discarded, pencil marking, one picture cut out, library attachments in back. Overall good condition. Book measures 9” x 12 and an 8 inch. 342 pages.
2) A Pictorial history of the American theatre 1900-1950, By Daniel Bloom. Published by Greensburg publisher, 1950, third printing, April 1951. Hardcover, no dust jacket. X library, buckram cover is stained and rubbed, library markings on spine. Interior has some soiling, has library pocket etc inside back cover, pencil marks. Book measures 9” x 12 1/4”. Overall good plus condition.
