Walter Valentini, born in Pergola, embarked on a transformative artistic journey that spanned several cities and decades. After studying in Milan under renowned teachers, including Max Huber and Luigi Veronesi, he delved into engraving in Urbino, immersing himself in Renaissance culture. Returning to Milan in 1955, Valentini initially pursued graphic design but increasingly devoted himself to painting, drawn to a geometric universe reminiscent of De Chirico's Metaphysics. In the '70s, his works evolved to feature a dominant white palette, reflecting a dry conciseness and culminating in impactful series like "Stanze del tempo" and "Muro del Tempo." Recognition followed, with international exhibitions and awards in the '80s and '90s, showcasing his innovative installations and paintings. The journey continued through the 2000s, marked by prestigious exhibitions and accolades, including participation in the Venice Biennale and Quadrennial in Rome. Walter Valentini's artistic legacy extended globally, leaving an indelible mark on contemporary art.
