Chairs from the 1950s or early 1960s, inspired by the 19th Century Mexican Hacienda style. The original distressed yellow paint by the maker is impeccably preserved. While the back resembles a ladder-back chair, it features exquisite Spanish colonial carvings. The chairs retain their original rush seats, remaining both sturdy and comfortably intact. Cross hand-carved stretchers on all four sides provide the necessary strength for this piece to endure well into the next century. Mexico Santa Fe Taos Adobe Style.
Dimensions: 16.25" width x 16" depth x 42.5" height, with a seat height of 17.5 inches.
See photos for condition but I would rate them as very good. Two seats have a couple of the rush strings that have broken - 1 string in 1 chair and 2 strands in another.
Notes: See the above for condition and see photos
