Leon and Eddie's was a New York City nightclub in the 1930's and 1940's.
It was run by two long-time entertainers, Leon Enkin and Eddie Davis.
The club began as a Prohibition-era speakeasy in a brownstone basement at 18 West 52d Street.
When Prohibition was repealed in 1933, the club moved across the street to 33 West 52d Street.
The club closed in 1953 and the building was later demolished.
It featured entertainers including comedians, dancers, and strippers.
Some famous names performed there, including Jackie Gleason, Bob Hope, Red Skelton, and Milton Berle.
These good luck coins are most likely from the 1930's when "good luck" coins were popular.
The club had a back wall with caricatures of Leon and Eddie thumbing their noses at each other.
The coins (tokens) use these caricatures as part of their design.
