This nail was taken from the Laura Secord house In Chippawa Ontario. The house was built about 140 years ago and the nails were all hand-made. Laura Secord warned the British of the Americans approach by pretending to catch her cow to milk it. The American sentries laughed and let her pass. She thus escaped to the British camp.
