19th C French Mantle Clock W/ Ornate Frame Set On To A Marble Rectangular Base, With A Simply Display Cabinet

Clock has its original pendulum with proper exposed movement as is the form where these clocks were meant to be housed under domes or case to keep the dust out. AS year went on they abandoned this idea and set on mantle. When the clock first were made they had silk thread suspension and very light pendulums that needed to be kept under domes.

Kind of an interesting form clock with gorgeous bezel.

Notice there are some fine line cracks in the dial blended in that bright white.
