A gorgeous oil painting by French listed artist Pierre Dubruiel. Artwork is on canvas on board & measures 45” L x 35” T. Look at her Gorgeous eyes & luminous skin! “Chez Atelier de Henri Matisse” is written on back of artwork. Framed artwork measures 51” L x 40.75” T.
Pierre Dubruiel , French painter 1891-1970, studied at L’Ecole des Beaux-Arts, and having met Henri Matisse in 1909, gained entry to his atelier, where he was introduced to other famous artists of his era. He presented his artwork at several renown Art Salons and became known for his portraits and still life paintings. As a prolific painter, his oeuvre encompasses more than 900 artworks, and several of his portraits were acquired by museums throughout the world.
