They shared a passion for domestic and international travel, collecting a wide variety of antiques and art world wide. The treasures in this auction represent the families eclectic but elegant taste acquired over a lifetime within America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Tom’s wife of Irish descent was an avid collector of Belleek, the famous porcelain that graced the finest tables for over a century, including that of Queen Victoria. This auction is a rare opportunity to acquire some exquisite early pieces. While the family has retained a significant amount of their heritage, the size and scope of the Skelton collection is a treasure hunting opportunity for the discerning.
