Furniture Sharehouse collects gently-used furniture from the public and redistributes it DIRECTLY to those who are living in empty apartments because they cannot afford even the most basic furniture. “Families that were struggling before the pandemic are now in even more dire situations, with entire families stuck at home due to unemployment and remote learning. It is more urgent than ever to provide these families with the basic furniture they need to make their homes safe, comfortable, and functional,” says Kate Bialo, Executive Director.

Founded in 2007, Furniture Sharehouse is a New York State 501(c)(3) charitable foundation, and all proceeds from the Auction will support its mission to provide free furniture to individuals and families in need in Westchester County, giving them hope and dignity and helping them rebuild their lives.
