Vintage Italian Murano AVeM Ruffled Glass Bowl
This elegant piece employs advanced glass blowing techniques; sommerso, millefiori, & and silver leaf.
There are layers of color, it is beautifully executed.
The outer layer is white glass.
The interior layer combines silver leaf with with green yellow & brown rods to create an amazing play of color and light, to os almost like tortoise shell.
The large bowl measures 9" x 3"
It is in perfect condition.
This piece came from an estate in South Palm Beach. The apartment was designed in the '80s and featured in Architectural Digest.
