Super rare vintage 1970s Dallas telephone purse handbag. As seen in recent years being worn by Lady Gaga.

Manufactured by Dallas Handbags in the 1970s. and was an actual working telephone complete with working mechanism (concealed inside the purse) with long cable and jack which could be plugged into any phone socket. Made from wet-look black smooth vinyl the front features the push-button keypad centred in a PVC ring with large metal grommets. It also has a little red light that flashes on the dial as you talk. Flip top with a metal twist-barrel lock. The phone receiver sits on top of the bag and is held in place by a PVC and velcro strap. Has a long shoulder strap attached to the side gussets with silver metal hardware. The off/on control is on the inner flap. A truly amazing vintage Pop Art accessory!
