Item Description

Vintage DENBY SANMARKAND "Arabesque" Salt & Pepper Shakers
Classic English Mid Century Modern Design.
Arabesque pattern features hand decorated circles & starbursts in shades of brown, orange and khaki on a dark brown background.
This pattern was introduced in 1964 and retired in 1981.
Shakers stand 6" his and 2 1/4" across.
The pattern also features both matte and glossy glazes giving the set extra texture.
The salt shaker has two rings of holes on the top and the pepper shake has only a single row of holes.
Clearly marked on the bottom Made in England
These are in outstanding condition.
No chips, nicks, scratches or damage.
