Brief History of Japanese Doll During Edo Era (1603-1867), Japanese doll makers started production of this kind of dolls. It is often used for as gift to a daughter who will marry and wishing for best luck of the marriage life. It was purpose for scapegoat to protect her for any tragedy might face along with new life. Until 1980s, these kind of dolls are favorable gift to traditional event, foreigners, or decoration to a house. For International Buyers: It is highly recommend to select insured international mail.
