Gold Key From Disneyland Opening 1955 -(2022 Sale For Over 4K At Heritage Auctions)

(Disneyland, c. 1955). Disneyland opened on July 17, 1955 and had several special VIP offerings including free dining and souvenirs. One of the original sponsors of the park, Yale & Towne (Stamford, CT factory) had a key shop on Main Street U.S.A. Guest VIPs were given special vouchers to pick up a gold-plated Disneyland key. Offered here is one of these original, vintage keys. The key is in good condition with normal wear from age and minimal handling.
