Fine Woven Japanese Split Bamboo Handled Ikebana Basket With Lid

A particularly Fine Japanese Split Bamboo Basket with intricate weaving, lovely proportion and very good overall condition. The tightly woven and very fine Bamboo weaving is a deep Tobacco Tone and the Basket retains its original handles which may be used to suspend the Basket for hanging arrangements as well as the original lid. A wonderful addition for the Ikebana Collector and a lovely item of Decor for the Natural Interior.
The Ikebana Basket measures 5.5” wide (At handles) by 4.5” deep by 9.75” high.
Condition: Please see all detail photos. The overall condition is very good with a few minor age-related losses which do not detract from the excellent presentation.
