Item Description

Same artist and time period as the woodblock previous [#5 of 6]. Centers upon another samurai of means, with wife in the backdrop and his attendant handing him the obi lacing to tie his clogs. The top third once again shows his palace/ dojo. Similar framing. Circa 1850, with bright colors and a strong subject matter . . .highly collectible. If by a well known artist, both examples could be VERY valuable.
