Collection of ten books of writing by Rudyard Kipling published by Doubleday, Page & Company of New York in 1926. Red covers with gold embossed image of an elephant with a flower in its trunk alongside a swastika. The swastika was used by Kipling as a personal trademark early in his career when he was introduced to the symbol in India where it was an ancient symbol of luck, before it was appropriated by Nazi Germany in the 1930s.
