Item Description

A complete, 24 volume, 1948 Encyclopedia Britannica Set (including the index and atlas). This is a beautiful brown leather-bound set and is extremely rare and very desirable. The set is in amazing condition considering the age (74 years old). Some age-toning to the paper but the pages are crisp and clean with no writing or marks and only very minimal wrinkling. There is some minor wear to the corners and borders but the binding is tight and straight. There is one small tear on page 439/440 of volume 6. No water or moisture damage.
