Antique majolica centrepiece bowl - made by Gerbing & Stephan, mid to late 19th Century, hallmarks on bottom, made in Bodenbach, Austro -Hungarian Empire (now in Czech Republic).

This company also was known for making beer steins.
This scene looks like the people are harvesting grapes. I don’t know why there is such a large loss of finish just over the scene. Perhaps, it was fired differently than the other parts.

Notes: Large loss of finish on the embossed scene, some other chipping here and there, no cracks, interior nice.

Consistent with age and use.
