Antique Metal Inlay Box

Handsome old box, inlaid with a simple metal brackets and a small brass plaque inlaid in the center of the lid, without engraving. Ideal piece to personalize with engraved initials on the blank plaque. Interior of box is painted cerulean blue, now showing the patina of age.

Notes: Minor cracking and wear to the wood, and wear to the interior paint, consistent with age. Original hinges are missing and have been replaced with newer ones. No key for skeleton key lock.
