Antique Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company "Grandmother" Metal Canister

A fabulous antique tin with original lid and green and black paint. Images are dark but a Grandmother figure is on front holding a cup in one hand and saucer in the other. Words underneath say, "The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Co's celebrated teas, coffees, baking powder, spices, extracts and condensed milk have been my solace through life. Grandmother."
The reverse side has three columns of "branch houses in the United States" and lists cities with street addresses.
Tin is very aged with tarnished patina on top and some pitting on bottom. One side of lid is slightly pushed in.
Measures 4 1/4" wide and 8 3/4" high.
