FORTUNE Magazine APRIL,1936 - KEY ARTICLE: Pan American Airways.
Numerous color illustrations (painted by the Fortune Magazine artists - J.W. Golinkin and Millard Sheets - of a Sikorsky Amphibious Prop Airplane and Martin Clippers. There are neat photos of the Sikorsky S-40 and S-42. There is also a 2-page Pan American Airways World-wide Route map.
The covers of the magazine are still intact. The previous owners added more articles about Pan American Airlines from the August, 1962 FORTUNE. Fantastic, interesting advertisements from the 1930's to name a few: ETHYL GAS CORPORATION / PUMP; IRON FIREMAN HOME AUTOMATIC COAL BURNER; GOOD HOUSEKEEPING EVERYWOMAN'S MAGAZINE; SOCONY-VACUUM OIL COMPANY, INC (RED FLYING WINGED HORSE); KENTUCKY TAVERN WHISKEY; BROOKS BROTHERS CLOTHING;
GILLETTE SAFETY RAZOR COMPANY BOSTON, MASS; ERIE RAILROAD SYSTEM SHIPPERS;
NATIONAL CASKET COMPANY; TURRET TOP BODY BY FISHER ON GENERAL MOTORS CARS;
CHESTERFIELDS CIGARETTES. There is plenty of BEAUTY left in the Pan Am article illustrations, photos and all of the period Advertisements!

Notes: There are many issues with this magazine - but the Pan American article and illustrations are wonderful.

- Every buyer MUST wear a mask and bring their own pen for Invoice signature purposes.
- If there is a buyer ahead of you, or Auction Staff members near you, please keep at least 6 feet in-between each other in accordance with the recommended social distancing guidelines.
- All of our personnel will be wearing the appropriate protection gear at the time of pickup.
