$3,000 Retail, Original Vintage 1960s Seafoam Green National Newport 84 Electric Guitar

Stunning, collectible National Newport 84 "Map" from the mid-1960s, Res-O-Glas fiberglass body, American-made guitar with early piezo pickup built into the bridge in sought-after original Seafoam Green finish. These guitars were manufactured by Valco in the U.S., with National being the "best" option for the manufacturer's "good, better, best" brands for the Montgomery-Ward mail order catalogs of the '60s. Some cracking and very minor losses to the finish around the pickup. Beautiful showy look and classic rock-n-roll sound of a true vintage guitar.
