Item Description

Romain de Tirtoff (1892 – 1990) was a Russian-born French artist and designer & known by the pseudonym Erté, was an artist who dabbled in many areas including fashion, jewelry, graphic arts, costume & set design for film, theatre, & opera, & interior décor.
Erté is known for his elegant fashion designs reflective of art deco. His figures and sophisticated, glamorous designs are very recognizable, and his ideas and art still influence fashion to this day.
This piece is 29" x 21.5" and was produced in 1978 by Sevenarts LTD. The frame has been touched up and has some damage.
