C. A. Gilbert Optical Illusion 1892 Print

Charles Allan Gilbert was an American Illustrator, Gilbert (1873-1929), this illusion print is signed and dated 1892, titled "ALL IS VANITY". Vintage framed piece under glass in original frame of the era. Impressive illustration that tricks your eye into thinking this is a skull picture when in fact it is a Gibson style lady sitting at her vanity! Viewed with my loupe there are no dots on this picture which tells me it is not a reprint. NO IN-HOUSE shipping please pick up or we can bring this to the UPS package store if you want to pay them separately for packing/shipping.

Notes: very good, minor dent seen when the light shifts, nothing scary, good looking ready to hang
