Rare authentic 17th century etching made between 1679 - 1681 by Jan Luyken.
The destruction of the Spanish galleys in the Channel off the Flemish coast by the Dutch fleet under Vice Admiral Jacob van Duivenvoorde, lord of Obdam, October 3, 1602. The sea battle watched by spectators from the coast.
Measures approx. 11" x 13", overall 18.25" x 16.25".
Nicely framed, good condition.
