A Northport family with deep roots in the community is moving on to the next chapter in their lives. This auction features original watercolor art by the talented local artist Ward Hooper, depicting scenes from Northport. ...view moreWard has had a long and illustrious career as an artist and has been featured in various artist magazines. His works have also been displayed in local galleries. At 95, he has agreed to give Northport families a chance to bid on his original artwork with the hope that it will find a proud place in their homes. Ward and his wife once owned an antique shop on Main Street in Northport, and many of their personal treasures are being offered for sale. An onsite estate sale will follow soon after the home is sold.

NYS has recently clarified its regulations on sales tax collection requirements as it pertains to out-of-state shipments. In effect, we are required to collect sales tax for ALL PURCHASES regardless of where the shipping destination is, with the only exceptions being either:

A) the shipping destination does not collect sales tax locally (Such as Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon) or;
B) you have a valid resale certificate - Must be entered in the Auction Ninja platform before the end of the auction. Please understand we cannot refund your taxes after the auction ends.
