Handsome antique drawing of a youth, American, 19th century, charcoal/pastel on paper, the figure depicted in elaborate costume including plumed hat, jabot, waistcoat, jacket, shirt with mutton sleeves, and walking stick, sight size 19-1/2" x 17", housed under glass in a walnut frame with gilt liner measuring 23" x 20-3/8".

CONDITION: Tiny hole and few tiny, unobtrusive spots to background; a few spots to interior of glass (not affecting drawing); wear to frame with losses to liner; otherwise near fine, attractive condition overall.
