The Burlington NJ Sewel Quakers third edition of 1774 was a reprint of the second edition, which had been published in 1725. The third edition included a new preface by Isaac Collins, a printer from Burlington, New Jersey, who was also a Quaker.

The book provides a comprehensive history of the Quaker movement from its origins in England in the 17th century to the early 18th century. It covers the major events, figures, and controversies in the Quaker community, including the founding of the Society of Friends by George Fox, the persecution of Quakers by the British authorities, and the growth of the movement in the American colonies.

Isaac Collins (1746-1817) was a prominent American printer and publisher during the Revolutionary era. He was born in Trenton, New Jersey, and apprenticed as a printer with William Bradford in Philadelphia. In 1769, he moved to Burlington, New Jersey, where he established his own printing business.

Collins was known for his expertise in typography and book design. He printed a wide range of materials, including newspapers, almanacs, religious tracts, and political pamphlets. He also published a number of important books, including the first American edition of the New Testament in Greek (1777) and the first American edition of the Anglican Book of Common Prayer (1786).

During the Revolutionary War, Collins was a supporter of the Patriot cause and printed a number of important political documents, including the New Jersey Constitution (1776) and the Declaration of Independence (1777).

After the war, Collins continued to be an important figure in the American printing industry. He moved his business to New York City in 1792 and later to Trenton, New Jersey. He died in Trenton in 1817.
