Item Description

Herbert Jacob Ashe founded the H.J. Ashe company in Connecticut in 1949. They were listed in the Stamford 1956 directory as H.J. Ashe Co. Inc. 490 Glenbrook Road as manufacturers of flashlights. In 1966 the company moved to the rear of 151 Woodward Avenue Norwalk where they stayed at least through 1976. The company name was changed in July 1969 to the AshFlash Corporation. Most of their product made or sold before was already branded AshFlash. Most of their was imported, however they did have some product private labeled for them by USA manufacturers.

From my personal collection accumulated over the years as a result of my personal connection to every US manufacturers and or sellers of flashlight related products.

Condition is very good as shown with the exception of its package which is worn and torn.
