Crater Glazes have become one of the favorite, most sought after glazes made by the pottery. Often commonly referred to as "Volcanic" or "Lava" glaze, the Crater glaze was developed and made in several colors: white, grey, brown and black.
MADE FROM NATIVE RED AND GRAY CLAYS FOUND AROUND PIGEON FORD. GLAZES ARE MADE FROM NATIVE WOOD ASH, FELDSPAR, ROCKS AND ORES AND HAVE UNIQUE QUALITY AND DEPTH OF COLOR.
