1950 Boy Scout Jamboree At Valley Forge Park Plaques, Maps And Merit Badge Book

The first Boy Scout Jamboree to be held for the Boy Scots of America since 1937 was at Valley Forge Park in June, 1950. From June 30 to July 6 over 45,000 attended. They encamped on the actual parade grounds and former sites of the 18th century brigades of the former Valley Forge encampment.
