Item Description

This is the General Statutes of Connecticut, Revision of 1887; in Force January First 1888, with the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution of the United States, and The Constitution of the State of Connecticut. It was published in Hartford, Connecticut through The Case, Lockwood & Brainard Co. printers. It is bound in full calf leather with dual spine labels in black and red. The front board is detached. All of the pages are intact - there is slight foxing throughout. The book itself is a very interesting look into Connecticut State Government in the 1800s - and it is a fairly scarce edition!
