Orthoceras & Ammonite fossilized shells in bedrock from millions of years ago. Ammonite is a coiled shell that looks like a rams horn and named after the egyptian god Ammon. They are an extinct marine animals similar to the nautilus. Ammonites have been found in the same Hell Creek Formation, in Montana. This grouping of both Ammonite and Orthoceras is what makes it so special.
