Item Description

American impressionist. Charles Gruppe was well known for his painting of New England Seashore scenes as well as scenes around Naples Florida. He comes from a family of well respected artists. Emile Gruppe was his uncle and Robert Gruppe was his cousin. All well listed in Artist publications as well ask Atrprice, AskArt and several online guides.I’m sure this is a Connecticut Lighthouse.
Signed on the front right side, circa 1960
Measures 37” x 26”

Notes: Needs a cleaning other than that it is in good condition.
