This lot of Starting Line Ups was part of a massive collection purchased by a collector who collected from the start of their release to the late 1990s and has every possible sport, as well as every figure, including special editions and only released at convention figures, and mail in only and special edition figures. There are hundreds of unopened figures in these lots. They were stored in a barn for many years. Many have their original tissue separating the unopened packages. Some are dusty and need vacuuming or a dusting as they are truly a time capsule situation. We did not open them, or check them prior to auctioning them off. We did do an approximate count, and take a quick look to see which sports were in each box so you would have a general idea of what you could be bidding on as well as specific sports fans of certain sports can have their choice of their sport of choice where possible.
There are unopened Starting line ups as well. These are some of the older and more valuable (even out of the packages figures) up for auctions. We tried to keep the teams together the best we could unless there was just not very many of the teams available. These are rare online and ebay has them selling for hundreds of dollars in these older generations, even unopened when paired with their teams from like years.
Please be aware, we did notice there are some duplicates, HOWEVER, it does appear that the collector intentionally did that since the duplicates appear to be big name players such as Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Joe Montana, ect, probably since he was purchasing as investment thinking those would be the most valuable figures.
Likely these would be great for a collector or reseller. We will not list off each and every box. Unfortunately, that would be too time consuming. You could end up with extremely valuable boxes. We are aware some of these figures fetch extremely high prices. We did look up some of them and indeed there are quite a few of those in these boxes. Again, it is a lottery situation. We can not verify which box those are in. Only that there are quite a few of them and that some boxes contain more than one. The photos do contain the actual contents of the boxes you are in fact bidding on.
