Untested. Antique American Edison early style Standard cylinder phonograph, circa 1902. This Edison phonograph has an oak cabinet and cover, along with a 14″ brass bell horn. This Edison cylinder phonograph is an early style with a large banner decal. The Edison Standard phonograph plays two minute cylinders and is spring powered by crank. . It was made in West Orange, NJ at the Laboratories of Thomas A Edison. In the first decade of the 1900’s, Edison was crafting cylinder phonographs, bringing recorded music and voice to homes across the country.
