This cool feature lets you add an optional pair of front "height" speakers for a larger soundstage with an expanded vertical dimension — a perfect complement to your video games and movies. And this receiver offers Audyssey DSX (Dynamic Surround Expansion). Like Dolby Pro Logic IIz, DSX processing allows you to add a pair of front height speakers in place of back surrounds. Or, you can choose to connect optional front "wide" speakers instead, creating an exceptionally broad soundstage for greater home theater impact and realism.
