Barbara Sandson signed French photograph, signature in pencil to the lower right corner of matting reads ‘Barbara Sandson’, title to the lower left corner of matting reads ‘French Lace the Luberon".

Barbara is a native of New York City. For many years she has lived in the village of Piermont-on-the-Hudson, just south of Nyack, New York. Recently she has purchased a house on Martha's Vineyard and now divides her time between the two locations. Her interest in photography came at an early age when her father brought home a Brownie camera and an enlarger. With his encouragement and guidance, a darkroom was set up in the family's bathroom, leaving it "off limits" for hours on end.
