Billy Cook leather horse saddle. Numbered 1060 and LongHorn logo on the grip. Padding in good condition.

The Longhorn brand is closely tied to that of Billy Cook. Billy Cook opened shop in Greenville, Tx. many years after serving a time in the military where he had met Bill Potts. They partnered because Billy had the shop and Bill had the money. It became Billy Cook Saddlery/Potts Longhorn. The Billy Cook saddles were the upper line saddles, and Longhorns were the lower line.
